Equipment Technician Training

Equipment Technicians are vital "second assistants" in the operating room. The role of the Equipment Tech includes: retracting areas of the operative site for physicians, assisting RNs with circulating procedures, retrieving blood from the Blood Bank, transporting patients and performing pre-surgical and surgical preps with appropriate training.

4-6 month on-the-job paid training.

HS/GED, with healthcare setting experience preferred.
